This Is A Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe.

This recipe is not fancy.

This recipe is not schmancy.

This is just your average, normal, easy-to-make buff chicken dip recipe from my bro-in-law, John.

This is the dip you make when you’re at the store and you Google:

This is the dip you make when you’re having pals over for the game and want to provide some type of food but don’t want to spend the whole day cooking.

This is the dip you make when you can’t really cook but want people to think that you can.

… you get the point.

Tips to make the very best dip

Before we dive into the recipe, here are a few quick tips to get that perfect, creamy dip:

  • Take your cream cheese out of the refrigerator about 20 minutes before you start to cook - you want to soften your cream cheese close to room temperature

  • Make life easy on yourself! Use precooked rotisserie chicken and pull apart with two forks

  • Adjust the spice level to your preference - add additional hot sauce for a spicier taste or use less for a more mild dip

This is a picture of the ingredients.

Prep: 5 min  | Cook: 15 min  | Ready in: 20 min

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (8 ounces) cream cheese (sub for reduced fat if desired)

  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (pro tip: get a rotisserie chicken from the store and use that)

  • 1 cup of Frank's RedHot Original Sauce

  • 1/2 cup of Ranch dressing (sub for reduced fat if desired)

  • 2 ounces shredded sharp cheddar cheese (optional)

  • Dippers such as: tortilla chips, pretzels, celery sticks, red bell pepper sticks, sliced cucumber

You want to make sure to spill the Ranch all over the counter like I did ^^

DIRECTIONS

  • Continuously stir cream cheese over medium heat until super soft (about 5 minutes) (*careful, it will start to burn if you don’t keep stirring - my husband warned me of this many times as I burned the cream cheese…)

  • Gradually stir the chicken, Frank's RedHot Original Sauce, and Ranch into the cream cheese over medium heat

  • Continue to stir until blended, melted, and juuuuust starting to simmer (about 7-10 minutes)

  • Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top if desired (you can also try folding in the cheese if you’re a pro…)

  • Serve with dippers

And that’s it! It’s a super simple recipe that is crowd-pleasing, creamy, and oh-so-delicious. Enjoy!
