Easy 10-Minute Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Donuts

In a recent post, I introduced you to Babs Costello - AKA @brunchwithbabs. Babs is the best. She is “America’s most lovable Grandma” and shares recipes, home tips and tricks, positive vibes, and motherly advice.

This past weekend, my pal Heather and I made delicious air fryer donuts with a recipe Babs posted on her Instagram!

It tastes just like the fried dough you get at the county fair... only better!

In full transparency, that is a canister of chicken seasoning that I used as a prop for this pic. I was out of cinnamon when I took this particular photo. LOL! #BTS! #🤷‍♀️

This recipe was super simple to make in the air fryer. It took under 10 minutes and Heather’s cute kids were easily able to help!

The donuts would be a super cute snack to make with your kiddos for Valentine’s Day. Or, they would make a delicious treat for the Super Bowl!

Trust me… you donut want to miss this recipe! 😉🍩 Ingredients and directions below. Enjoy!

✨ Air Fryer Cinnamon Sugar Donuts✨

Prep: 3 min  | Cook: 6 min  | Ready in: under 10 min

INGREDIENTS

  • Melted butter

  • 1 canister of Grands! Pillsbury Flaky Layers Original Biscuits (or any biscuits but make sure they have “flaky layers” on the label)

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1/8 cup cinnamon

  • Air fryer

  • 1” circle cookie cutter (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Open can of biscuits and pull apart

  2. Cut a 1” hole in the middle of each biscuit (if you don’t have a cookie cutter, you can also just poke a hole in the center with your fingers)

  3. Put in air fryer at 350° for 3 minutes

  4. Flip them over, cook for another 3 minutes

  5. Let cool 1 minute

  6. Brush with melted butter (don’t forget to brush the sides, too)

  7. Whisk cinnamon and sugar in a bowl

  8. Dip and coat donut in the cinnamon sugar mixture

  9. Enjoy!

And a pro tip from Babs, if you have the holes from the center, you can make munchkins!
